Ali Motroni

Ali started her first organization at 20, an anti-trafficking nonprofit in South Carolina, during her last year at Clemson. Her work since has taken her from corporate healthcare sales at Stryker to women and girls’ programming with World Vision, and from family offices and impact funds to villages in Kenya and Nepal.

She spent seven years on the founding team of Align Impact, one of the first values-aligned investment advisory firms in the country, where she built the firm’s growth strategy and worked directly with families on their giving, their investing, their financial literacy, and how to bring the next generation in. She has also advised startups on growth and brand, built communities, and hosted a podcast on the people changing how capital is used.

She founded Sea Lea Studio in 2025. Today she serves as co-executive director of a family foundation and advises funds and platforms on strategy, client experience, and communications.

She lives in Brooklyn and just finished her first novel.
